During science practicals, Loreto students are using handheld data logging equipment to assist them in capturing data that was previously impossible to acquire with traditional equipment and methods. Once the data has been captured, the girls then transfer their results to graphing calculators where they interpret, explore and communicate their findings.

Much like the graphing calculator application in maths, Loreto students are using this type of digital media to facilitate problem solving. It provides them with a powerful means for exploring what-if scenarios, performing statistical analysis and communicating what they have discovered.
