In celebration of Netdays 2004, seven Loreto senior-cycle students directed, produced and edited a digital film marking the Centenary of the school.

Titled Happy Birthday Loreto St. Michael's, the film featured testimonials from staff and students as well as a brief tour of the school.

As part of the project, the students received training on digital film and editing from the local NCTE ICT Advisor. The project was sponsored by Leárgus, Ireland's National Agency for the Management of National, European and International Co-operation Programmes.
