The Wrath of the Teenage Consumer!

As Third Year Business Studies students prepared for their Junior Certificate exam, they found their exam revision booklets were falling apart at the seams. Using their individual school-based email accounts, each one of the thirty students sent a message to the publisher of the booklet expressing her disappointment in the quality of the product. A new set of thirty booklets soon arrived at the school.

The promotion of safe and responsible Internet use is a highly important part of the curriculum at Loreto. The training feature in the August 2002 issue of Dot.ie magazine, titled Educating the next Net Generation, was based on the Internet safety and awareness portion of Loreto's ICT Curriculum.
