In light of
the bus tragedy that effected us all so deeply last May, we, the
Seedlings Group, invite you to contribute to our school's project
to promote road safety. In channelling our energy together, we hope
to run a project which will
- bring awareness
to Road Safety
- bring funding
to our local hospitals in Navan & Drogheda
- bring healing
for ourselves.
You can support
our project by keeping in mind our keywords - *
Awareness * Caution * Distance * Life * Safety -
each time you take to the road and by carrying one of our two road
safety keyrings.
All proceeds
from the sale of the keyrings will benefit the Children's Unit of
the Louth / Meath Hospital Group.

The
Seedlings Group
The Seedlings
Group was formed in September 2005 to embark on a journey of healing
for those who survived the bus tragedy. Working with Mr. Francis
O'Toole, the Guidance Counsellor, the group has been meeting weekly
in the spirit of sharing, support and consolation.

Awareness:
Before you start driving, be aware of how you are feeling.
Emotions can influence your ability to drive.
Caution: Drive
with caution. Learn the rules of the road and follow them.
Distance:
Accidents
can happen during the shortest of distances. Don't take
chances, don't speed, don't drink, don't take drugs and
don't talk on the phone while driving.
Life:
Life
is a gift, drive with care.
Safety:
Safety
belts are there for a reason, "wear them". Install
safety belts in buses. When driving think safety and arrive
alive. |
