Did you know?

  • From 1 January to 3 April of this year, 100 people were killed on Irish roads.

  • Over a four year period, 6,000 young people were either killed or injured on our roads.

  • Without a seat belt, 3 out of 4 people will be killed or seriously injured in a head on crash.

Last May, five young people lost their lives in a tragic bus accident outside Navan, County Meath. This accident has had a profound effect on our school and local community. As a result, we would like to make a contribution to road safety through this Road Safety Awareness Project.

You can support our project by keeping in mind our keywords - * Awareness * Caution * Distance * Life * Safety - each time you take to the road and by carrying one of our two road safety keyrings.

All proceeds from the sale of the keyrings will benefit the Children's Unit of the Louth / Meath Hospital Group.

Great News!  As a result of the positive response from the public, we have reached our goal of providing a portable ventilator and cardiac monitor for our local hospitals - over €20,000 euro raised!

Many thanks to all who have supported us along the way. Sincerely, The Seedlings Group
